My name is Imani Jolicoeur. I am a self-taught visual artist from the south suburbs of Chicago. I started my art career in Atlanta Georgia back in 2017 as a hobby during undergrad. My love for painting grew into a side hustle when I built a clientele for portraits paintings in Chicago. My original pieces are inspired by Street-Art, Hip-Hop and the Black culture across the diaspora. I love using vibrant colors in portraits. I consider my work creating people of color…“Literally”
